Inauguration Of HDF Health Center In Lahore Region
HDF, in collaboration with King
Edward Medical College (KEMC), established
its first health center in Kroll War
village. The center began its operation
in April 2004 with a focus on acting
as a primary health care facility
for both adults and children. The
inauguration ceremony was attended
by local HDF board members, physicians
from KEMC and invited guests. Lt Gen
(Retd) Muhammad Maqbool (board member),
Haji Abdul Ghani (community acivist)
and Dr.Riffat Nisar addressed the
guests and press. HDF has previously
established 9 non formal basic education
schools and 12 adult literacy centers
in the Lahore region, with substantial
participation and cooperation from
community members.
