1. Do you think education
is important? Why?
Education is the need of today in
this modern world. It creates awareness
among the people about social, economical
and so many other issues. Now every
one questions about educational background
of a girl, especially at the time
of marriage.
2. What is the contribution
of HDF for promoting education in
your region?
Since the HDF school is situated in
the local community, it is easy for
the girls to go to the school, otherwise
it will be very difficult to send
girls to a faraway school.
3. How many schools has
HDF provided in you region and what
is the approximate number of children
benefiting from it?
I am not aware about the exact total
number of schools in our area. However,
lots of HDF schools are operational
for providing education in the area.
4. Are there any others
private, government or NGO based schools
in your region? If yes then what is
their quality?
There is a govt. primary school in
our village. But the teachers in this
school are not very keen to ask the
students about their studies, they
never asked students about what they
are studying.
5. Why did you choose to
get your child/children admitted in
HDF School instead of any other?
It is just because of better quality
of education, children are given proper
attention and the teachers are very
cooperative.
6. Do you think HDF schools
are providing better quality of education
(including books, teachers, teaching
methods etc) than others?
Yes, definitely!
7. If you look at other
children studying in other than HDF
schools, what difference you find
between HDF and other school children?
In HDF schools children are very keen
to learn. There is an attraction for
students because of joyful learning
activities and teacher’s attention
towards each individual student because
of the manageable size of the classrooms.
8. What would have been
the situation of education if HDF
had not intervened in your region?
Children from poor families may not
be able to continue their studies,
because poor people cannot afford
to send their children to schools
situated far away in the urban areas,
since there is no school for elementary
classes in our village.
9. Other than the primary
school what else do you expect from
HDF in the field of education?
We want higher level of education
facilities in the area, if possible
up to master level.
10. Do you think that HDF
education system has brought any change
in the education of your region? If
yes then explain how?
Yes. Providing education at the doorstep
and child-friendly system encourages
our kids to go school willingly.
11. Are your children happy
with the HDF school system?
Yes. Every day they are telling their
elders about their homework and other
activites in the school.
