Assalamu Alaikum
While Pakistanis in America are worried about INS registration, Pakistanis in Pakistan continue to prove their resilience in moving forward despite all odds.

One such Pakistani is an 85 years old, Mohammad Ali Detho. He lives in the village of Qabool Pur in Sind. Despite being an old man, he is an active participant in the community. He joined Al-Sakhi Tanzeem which is established under the self-help model of HDF. He has grown his business to a higher level of performance while working with others.

In Kachi abadi of Karachi, based on the same model of self-help a girls school run in a room volunteered by a women organization now has moved to a better space.

There are millions of hardworking Pakistanis who are doing their best in changing the world around them.

HDF is a natural partner to these enterprising Pakistanis with our system of helping people help themselves. Let's all of us make a commitment this Pakistan Day on March 23rd  to our part in changing Pakistan village by village.

More than 37% Pak Americans surveys on our website said that their Eid celebrations this year were affected because of INS registration issues. There are thousands of people in INS detention at this moment.
