Zakat is a duty. After Salat, this is what Quran emphasizes the most.

Our Creator states that Zakat helps you grow by purifying your wealth. It is the right of the poor.

"Of their wealth take alms to purify and sanctify them." [Tauba 9:103].

"And in their wealth there is due share for the beggar and the deprived." [Al-Zariyat, 51:19].

HDF uses your Zakat in ways that instead of going to consumption, it continues to work in productive ways and keeps bringing you the reward. We stretch your Zakat to do more than a normal dollar.
